We don’t keep a Cent. So where goes the money?
How much goes to charity?
Physical Album (Compact Disc)
Your €15.00 make €15.00 when you buy the CD direct, say at a concert, from one of us; or you have bought it online at our Webshop and paid for shipping. If you went to a record store and paid €15.00, both the store and the retailer would have kept a percentage. This means only between €4.00 and €6.00 came through. ATS-Records and Amazon give us more, between €7.00 and €10.00.
Digital Album (Audio Files)
Without a physical body, music costs less, say around €9.00 per album, or €1.00 per individual track, and the music services keep between 10 – 50%.
Account in trust
Credit card sales from this website arrive at Parkinsong’s PayPal business account and €15.00 for each CD (as you paid for shipping) will be transferred into the bank account of Parkinsonline. Sales and commission from ATS-Records as well as their partners will be credited directly into the bank account of Parkinsonline. Cash goes also straight into the bank account of Parkinsonline, where your donations are being held in trust.

Billy Spakemon (Dr Brian Dakin)
Born Oldbury the Black Country West Midlands England 28/11/1952
My work engages with the notions of identity through place, voice and histories. I write, perform, am a public speaker, radio show host, academic, events organiser, community project leader and freelance project co-ordinator, among other things. I recorded the above song during a year long project I organised with John Langford to raise funds for local Parkinson support groups in the Black Country and Birmingham. The song came about from a memory session I did with a dementia group and an elderly lady began to sing an old chapel song (only the first line as that was all she could remember). It developed into the song on the Parkinsong Duets CD. I asked Ray Andrews a local businessman who has Parkinson’s. He was the starting point of our fund raising efforts in 2018 and an inspiration.
Stefan Weber (1946 – 2018)
Stefan Weber (8 November 1946 – 7 June 2018) was an Austrian art teacher and the lead singer and Kapellmeister of the Viennese band Drahdiwaberl. Weber founded the band in 1969 in the wake of the events of 1968. Drahdiwaberl were infamous for their elaborate stage shows which often include bizarre and, as some claim, disgusting elements.
Tom Isaacs (1968 – 2017)
Tom Isaacs was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease at the age of 27 and co-founded The Cure Parkinson’s Trust in 2005. The organisation focuses on funding research with the potential to slow, stop and reverse Parkinson’s. Tom received the ‘World Parkinson Congress Award for Distinguished Contribution to the Parkinson Community’ in September 2016. He passed away unexpectedly on 31 May 2017 at the age of 49.
Believe in Everything You Do
Parkinsong duet performed by Pete Wain and Andy Hitchman
Words and music by Pete Wain
One life is all we get
So make the most of it
Fulfil your dreams, follow your heart
Reach for the stars
Open your mind, feel compassion
But don’t let it blind you
Don’t close your eyes angel, be aware of everything
You got your whole life in front of you
Who knows what tomorrow may bring
Listen to the sermon, let your conscience grow
Feel your heartbeat, let your lifeblood flow
Believe in everything you do
Remember nobody can touch you
When your mind is free of guilt and your heart is true
True love is never easy to find
And it only takes a fool to be blind
Open your mind, feel it in your heart
Reach for the stars
Believe in everything you do
Remember nobody can touch you
When your mind is free of guilt and your heart is true
Believe in everything you do
Remember nobody can touch you
When your mind is free of guilt and your heart is true
Believe in everything you do
How Will It Be
Parkinsong duet performed by Badhoven and Gerald Ganglbauer
Words and music by Kurt C Greilberger
I’m driving here alone
The road I’ve ever known
When the night comes in
Will it change
My life so rough
I ask my stars above
How will I know, how
But I’m here to be with you
Forever be with you
Baby, how will it be
If I’m holding you tight
How will it be
If I love you tonight
How will it be
If I’m sharing all
All my dreams with you
I feel I’m not alone
With the fight I’ve ever known
Will you stand by me
Take my hand, take me all
Take the centre of my soul
Then you will know, you will
Why I’m here to be with you
Forever be with you
Baby, how will it be
If I’m holding you tight
How will it be
If I love you tonight
How will it be
If I’m sharing all
All my dreams with you
Solo
I’m here to be with you
Forever be with you
Baby, how will it be
If I’m holding you tight
How will it be
If I love you tonight
How will it be
If I’m sharing all
All my dreams with you
Forever be with you
Baby, how will it be
How will it be, how will it be
If I’m sharing all
All my dreams with you
Forever be with you
How will it be
Not the River of Mercy
Parkinsong duet performed by The Base and Gerald Ganglbauer
Words and music by Norbert Wally
The river I swim is not the river of mercy
The river I’m in is not the river of mercy
I took a swim the other day
To wash away my sins and worries
I washed my hands I washed my face
but I can’t stay in here forever
The river I swim is not the river of mercy
The river I’m in is not the river of mercy
It doesn’t wash away my pains
It doesn’t grant me absolution
When I get out I’ll take the chance
To wash my hands in muddy water
The river I swim is not the river of mercy
The river I’m in is not the river of mercy
I’m gonna swim it after you
Pray you’ll wait out in the ocean
The river I swim is not the river of mercy
The river I’m in is not the river of mercy
It’s Always Me
Parkinsong duet performed by The Base and Gerald Ganglbauer
Words and music by Norbert Wally
If you hit your head on the door it’s my fault
Because I left it open for you to go thru it
And if I had closed it you would have cursed me in a similar style
You put me in charge of your moods and your minds
Of the the things you forget, of the things you can’t find
Of your smiles, of your fears, of your pains and another half sleepless night
Why is it always me?
Who knows where it’s going
And where the wind’s blowing, it’s me
Why is it always me?
Who can make u feel better and make u feel worse
Who’s in charge of the fate of your whole universe
It is me
Now why is it me around who your world’s turning?
And why would I take care of all things concerning
Your primary needs and your wishes u don’t wanna talk about?
Now, I’ll be your hero and I’ll be your bag full of dirt
You can kiss me and kick me and hurt me
And lick me and call me things
Stupid things you do not care about
Why is it always me?
Who knows where it’s going
And where the wind’s blowing, it’s me
Why is it always me?
Who’s got the control, who can save every soul
It is me
Why is it always me?
Some say it’s a bliss but I see it as a curse
I’m in charge of the fate of your whole universe
It is me
